Barnika Damask roses come from high-altitude rose gardens around Qamsar. They are picked after dawn prayers in late spring and early summer. The petals are separated and naturally dried in the shade in a dedicated drying hall. Described as having the highest ranking in Iran for fragrance, color and flower quality.
